Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions set out here apply to all website quoted and completed by Refresh-Websites.


The terms and conditions that apply to this website are included as a link on all estimates and invoices. When your order is placed, it is assumed that these terms and conditions have been accepted.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Website Charges

Charges for services provided by Refresh-Websites are set out in your estimate.

Estimates are valid for a period of 1 Month.

Refresh-Websites reserves the right to refuse and re-quote any works that has passed its due date.

Unless agreed otherwise with a customer, all services require an advance payment of fifty (50) percent of the estimate total before any work is started. With the remaining fifty (50) percent of the estimate total due upon completion of the work(s)

We do not accept any form of payment other than a transfer to the bank account supplied with your Estimate and Invoice. (No PayPal / Online Merchant Services)

Estimates are provided via email only unless requested in another format.

We do not charge any “retainer” or “Guarantee of work” fee, we quote website projects based on our current availability and do not offer any one client preferential treatment over any other.

Maintenance Agreements

Payments for Maintenance agreements will be made via Standing Order to the account listed on your estimate, and invoice.

Maintenance Plans are set at a static £25 per month and are reviewed every 3 months. If your maintenance plan goes beyond what we deem to be acceptable, then this will be reviewed and agreed with the client before any charges are made.

Regardless of a maintenance agreement, damage caused to any website provided by Refresh-Websites due to inaccuracy of training, or lack of website development knowledge will be billed to the customer at a rate of £15/Hour


All customers who have a website hosted with Refresh-Websites are sent a separate estimate for their website hosting – this is to be paid in full, to remain competitively priced, we request hosting payments in advance so that you save money in the long run.

We do not offer to host websites out of our reasonable control or third-party software.

Client Review

Refresh-Websites will provide the Client with every opportunity to review the appearance and content of the website during the design phase and once the overall website development is completed.

Unlike most website design and development companies, we will build your new website on a secure, live webserver. This allows the customer to have forever access to their new website as it is being constructed – we feel that this gives customers ample opportunity to point out or make whatever changes are needed as the website is being developed, to avoid costly re-designs of your website.

As we provide the customer with a live development environment, it is deemed that once a website has entered its final stage of development (confirmed via email) that all design and content changes are locked. If changes are requested outside of this period, this will become billable to the customer, to ensure that Refresh-Websites can remain competitively priced.

Turnaround Time and Content Control

Refresh-Websites will install and post, modify, build or supply the Client’s website by the date agreed with Client upon Refresh-Websites initial payment, unless a delay is specifically requested by the Client and agreed by Refresh-Websites.

In return, the Client agrees to delegate a single individual as a primary contact to aid Refresh-Websites progressing the commission in a satisfactory and expedient manner.

During the project, Refresh-Websites will require the Client to provide website content; text, images, movies and sound files before they will commence with the project.

Failure to provide required website content

Refresh-Websites is a limited liability partnership, not a limited company so to remain efficient we must ensure that work we have is carried out at the scheduled time. On occasions we may have to reject offers for other work and enquiries to ensure that your work is completed at the time arranged.

Therefore, we ask that you provide as much information possible in advance. When your website is quoted by Refresh-Websites, it is quoted on the assumption that you need your new website to be live as fast as we do – we don’t like projects to drag on and we feel that it is not our responsibility to ensure content is provided in a timely manner for your website. We offer a fast turnaround based on the timely supply of all content, images and needed additional information.

Refresh-Websites will make up to three (5) attempts to chase a customer for outstanding work after the fifth attempt has been made, we will no longer chase you to provide content for your website, and the project will either be placed on hold by us, or re arranged for a different time in the year, so we can work on other projects.

If your website is cancelled by Refresh-Websites because we have been unable to complete your website due to chasing for content, no refund of monies will be due to the customer, we reserve the right to cancel website projects if we are spending more time chasing, than building your website.
